Beginning Hand Embroidery
A Step-by-Step Look at over 12 Basic Stitches
This is a beginner-level course for those who are new to embroidery or who need a refresher of the basic stitches. In this class you'll learn 12 basic stitches, plus variations and a few extras, that will allow you to create borders, stems, leaves, flowers, and more.
Each lesson contains both written and illustrated instructions, a video tutorial, and a link to examples on Pinterest. You have access to the instructor both via the classroom format and through an optional Facebook group.
As part of this class, the Facebook group is where you can share your progress with other students and ask questions as you work through the lessons. From time to time, there will be a "live" round of this class in the Facebook group, where all students are offered the chance to work on the same modules at the same time. This is a great way to meet your fellow students and stay motivated as you work through the lessons. In between live rounds, we are always available to help answer questions and cheer you on.
